Object - modern school historical education in methodical, sapid and processial aspects; goal - to ground theoretical and methodological basis of transformation of modern school historical education and to work out the methods of introduction of competentional approach in teaching history at school; methods - analytical, generalization, historical, system and structural, modelling, experimental, observation, interrogatory, questionnaire, content-analysis, statistical; novelty - integrative scientific idea about regularity and essence of characteristic of modern school historical education's transformation has been formed for the first time; results - approaches to definition of the principles' system, aim and tasks of teaching history have been scientifically grounded, tendencies of renovation of the content of modern school historical education have been defined, these have been characterized the peculiarities and experimentally verified the effectivity of competentional approach in teaching history;speciality - Theory and Methodology of teaching History.
