Essay

3. Dissertation is devoted to the revival of pig-breeding industry of Ukraine with solving the problems, arising in marketing conditions. Investigations are directed on working out the alternative low-expensive energy-saving technology with taking into account the economical and ecological demands for more complete use of animals' biological potential, their comfortable maintenance, microclimate improvement and pigs reproductive and productive performances rising. The alternative low-expensive technology and technological equipment for mono-phase pigs housing at cold growing method: piglets till 7-8 months of age; sows (single, conditionally pregnant and pregnant till 100 days being in farrow) in reproductive farm department; sows for 15 days before their farrowing, lactating sows with litter, sucklers, weaning piglets, repairing and pedigree piglets and fattening pigs in farrowing department. The system of pigs differentiated feeding in alternative low-expensive energy-saving technology conditions atcold method of their growing with taking into account the living mass, age, physiological state, milking formation, production purpose, litter's natural growing and development during embryo and post embryo periods. The use of the alternative low-expensive technology and technological equipment made favourable conditions for pigs mono-phase housing on straw and send litter at cold growing method allowed to make the microclimate in housing better, to reduce fodder expenses per 1 kg of gains till 2,8-3,2 fodder units, 2-3 times wages fond, 7-8 times power costs in comparison with traditional technology. The use of the alternative low-expensive technology with elements of pigs differentiated feeding gave the possibility to rise 10-12% hogs and sows sexual activity, 5-10% - sows impregnating, 11,1% - the number of farrowings, 11,9% - litter's number mass at farrowing, 13,1% - litter's average alive mass, 27,8% - fat content in sows milk, 28,2% - the number of piglets at weaning in 60 days of age, 14,2% - the average alive mass at weaning, 15,5% - litter's alive mass at weaning and 12,8% - piglets safety in comparison with traditional technology.
