A research object is a management the system of health protection in Ukraine. A research purpose is a theoretical ground of methodological principles and conceptual approaches to the management the system of health protection in Ukraine and on this basis specification and opening of possibilities of the use of mechanisms of government control of innovative processes in this sphere. Research methods are approaches of the systems and complex, historical, logical and system analytical, logical and semantic, structurally-logical design, comparative analysis, economical and mathematical, sociological (questionnaire, having a special purpose expert questioning), expert estimations, descriptive and abstract design and generalization, prognostic, graphic, problem orientation, diagnostic and programmatic having a special purpose methods. The practical value of the got results consists in that in an aggregate they make theoretical, methodological and methodical basis for practical perfection and realization of mechanisms of the state adjusting of innovative processes in the system of health protection. The scientific novelty of the got results consists in that first methodological and gnosiological approaches to the strategic management the system of health protection are systematized, conceptual principles of innovative transformations are certain and the priority type of development of the proper system in modern terms is offered; essence is exposed, maintenance of innovative processes in the system of health protection is specified on the basis of formalization of processes in the difficult hierarchical systems and typification and classification of innovative processes it is offered on external signs; methodical approaches to differentiation of innovative processes on the basis of their morphological diagnostics on indicative and receptive principle, with determination of tendentious properties, grounded, and also attention is accented on the necessity of introduction on this basis of concrete methods and facilities of government control; conception of innovative transformations of the system of health protection, which differs from existent conception of development of the system of health protection that foresees a transition from principle of social orientation to the social orientation and aimed at introduction of innovations by new approaches and facilities of its realization, is developed and offered.
