Essay

The dissertation has made it possible to elaborate a new approach of a medico-social assessment of the health of communities with the determination of the leading integral indices according to the established model of the law of population’s survival on the basis of systemic studies of health dynamics and Ukraine’s population survival (and in depth - rural population of Northern Bucovyna) in all age-sexual groups. Appropriate methods, control «normative» and «standard« reference points of health and survival, criteria of a suitability estimation of territories for preserving the health of communities have been suggested.
