We defined the influence of the main components functional state of skeletal muscles elastic-glutinous characteristics, vestibular-motor system and speed-and-strength training of jumpers on the achievement of high sports results at the track-and-field jumping competition. The effectiveness in formation jumpers' technical skill during the four-year Olympic cycle of preparation was experimentally examined. It is grounded for the first time on this basis the methodology of formation the elite track-and-field jumpers' technical skill in the system of sports preparation was worked-out. While perfecting athletes' technical skill it must be taken into consideration: Practical recommendations were given; the main scientific principles of the technical skill formation methodology were introduced during the preparation system period for the national track-and-field athletic teams.
