Object of research: social and institutional changes in the condi-tions of transformation of the economic system of society. Purpose of research: decision of scientific the issue of the day on determina-tion of nature of origin and development of theoretical and methodo-logical bases of theory of social capital as social economical institute in the conditions of transformation of the economic system. Meth-ods of research: methods of formal logic; methods of dialectical logic; structurally-functional and factor analysis; descriptive-inductive method; formal and juridical method; historical and com-parative method. Results: the structure of social environment is set, the laws of structure, functioning and development of social envi-ronment are certain; structurally-functional bases of the economic system are explored and the four sector socialization model of na-tional economy is offered; genesis of social capital is exposed; au-thor conception of economic theory of social capital is given; the sphere of creation of social capital of society is certain; methodology of including is developed in the combined public capital structure of group of non-material capitals, their properties and signs are certain; the mechanism of forming of humanitarian capital of society and creation of humanitarian infrastructure answering his functions is offered; nature is explored origins, essence, functions and forms of social capital as the institutional resource of economic development of society; set the special character of motion of social capital; prin-ciples of economic theory of social capital are developed as compo-nent part of institutional economic theory; typology of social insti-tutes, regulating co-operation of economic agents, is made; signs and properties of informal institutes influencing on the conduct of eco-nomic agents are set; developed methodology of accumulation and consumption of social capital as interpersonal ties, collectively-groups social communications networks; the theoretical and applied valuesof the use of social capital are grounded as the social eco-nomical institute of increase of welfare of nation.
