The object is conductor's band art of European tradition; the purpose is to reveal the specificity of forming conductor's band performance in the cultural life of Ukraine in the XVIII-XIX centuries; the methods are system-active, comparative, historical, system-genetic and functional analyses; the novelty is conditioned by the choice of the investigation aspect.
