Bondarenko E. Geoinformational Ecological-geographical Mapping: the Theory and Practice of Researches.

The thesis is devoted to the development of the new problem-oriented direction of modern thematic cartography - geoinformational ecological-geographical mapping. Its methodological organization has been represented; the basic conceptual-terminological means and main principles of realization have been defined; the principal classification criteria of ecological-geographical maps have been substantiated; the structure of informational resources has been defined for mapping, and their quality estimation and operational stages have been assigned; peculiarities of modes and techniques application in geoinformational ecological-geographical mapping have been chosen; assignment, main principles of construction and principal features of the regional ecological-geographical GIS have been justified; and peculiarities of ecological-geographical cartographical products content of different territorial level and assignment have been indicated.
