Tovazhnyanska O. Metabolic-bioenergetic aspects of a pathogeneses and treatment of a pathology of nervous system at an initial hypothyroidism

In the dissertation on the basis of complex research 281 of a patient with initial hypothyroidism (IH) a concept was developed concerning pathogenetic role of in-fringement of metabolic and bioenergetic homeostasis in formation of different variants of neurological frustration caused by initial hypothyroidism. Multilevel af-fection of nervous system caused by IH, certain basic neurological forms - an en-cephalopathy, encephalopolyneuropathy, ncephalomyelopolyneuropathy and nervous-muscular syndromes, their clinic-tool features and progressing course were de-tected. It was proved, that the basic pathogenetic factors of formation of neurologi-cal complications caused by IH are intensification of free-radical oxidations, decli-nation of antioxidant reserve, rising of atherogenous potential of a blood, neurome-diator systems disbalance, development of energetic deficiency and lactatacidosis. Interrelations were revealed between thyroid disbalance, metabolic and bioenergetic infringements, clinical, structural and functional displays of neurological disorders. Metabolic prediction criteria of development of the neurological pathology caused by IH were singled out. Complex pathogenetic treatment of neurological complica-tions caused by IH was developed and its efficiency was proved.
