The work is theoretical-experimentation research of the content’s problem and technology of teaching rhetoric for future teachers. It is substantiated theoretical the importance of rhetorical education, selection of the methodic structure, forms and methods of teaching rhetoric the students of high pedagogical educational institutions, directed on the formation of the lingual rhetoric personality of the modern teacher. The historical aspects of rhetoric are exposed: the stages of the conception and development of rhetoric as science and teaching discipline, formation of the image of ideal orator and teacher. The author gives consideration to the orator’s language, language expressive means, and problems of creation and perception of the text.
