Essay

The thesis deals with the problem of speech development of children with cleft lip and palate (CLP). Key lines of interdisciplinary systems analysis and synthesis of scientific-theoretical and empirical planes revealed the urgency of the problem which proved resistant tendency to increase fertility children with CLP; lack of modern monitoring integrated studies of verbal and mental development of children with CLP in Ukraine including early age; current practice unidirectional approach to overcome the rhinolalia without regard to timing of surgical treatment, the anatomical structure of the defect, the child's age; common low level of efficiency logopedic correction; deficiency logo and psychological support of family; need to develop a multidisciplinary, integrated system of correction of the speech and psychological development of children with CLP from birth to 18 years. Strategy ascertaining phase of the study included the correlation of levels of development of functional systems and speech with the levels of formation of the basic components of mental development. In this thesis a detailed description of the algorithm linguistic-pedagogical research and developed a comprehensive diagnostic model for studying the multivector of the speech and psychological development of children with CLP. The study presents data on the multidimensional speech development of children with CLP from an early age to allowing systematic violations of the symptoms of development of functional systems and speech and go to the corresponding syndromes.
