The thesis researches the theoretical and methodological basis of the comprehensive rehabilitation of the persons with health-related disabilities from the educational standpoint. The author undertakes an analysis of rehabilitation realities, the experience accumulated by corrective and rehabilitation institutions, the evolution of the rehabilitation system as a social institute, investigates a rehabilitation systemology, rehabilitation management, correction andragogic, vocational training of rehabilitogists. The multidimensional problems of rehabilitation objects and processes are reviewed within the framework of a post-non-classical synergetic paradigm. The theoretical foundation for Rehabilitology as a cross-disciplinary science functioning at the juncture of corrective pedagogy, psychology, medicine, social work, engineering, philosophy, law, etc. was created. The research proves the universal role of educational fundamentals as a backbone factor of the comprehensive social rehabilitation and integral rehabilitation technologies.
