Object: Culture training of students in higher educational establishments as a humanitarian component of professional training; objective: substantiation of theoretical and methodological basis for modernization of the content of Culture training of future specialists in higher educational establishments in conditions of information-oriented society; methods: analysis of literature, questioning, projecting; novelty: in the research there has been defined theoretical and methodological basis for modernization of the content of Culture training as a component of professional training of specialists in higher educational establishments in conditions of information-oriented society, regarding it as an interdisciplinary course; results: there have been designed original curricula for subjects “Culture Study”, “Ethics”, “Religion”, “Methodology of teaching culture-related disciplines to students of higher educational establishments”; field – theory and methods of professional training
