Essay

The object of the research is the process of the information development of the transport systems. The aim of the research is the improvement of the information and the technology of transport processes. The research is based upon the methods of analogy, generalizations and discrete mathematics. The basic provisions of synergetics, the operator and graphic descriptions of complex objects and systems, the computer and visual simulation and the object oriented method have being employed. The software and hardware of GRID-technology, automobile telematics systems and an universal mobile transport laboratory were used while designing. The theoretical result of the work consists in resolving of the contradiction between the rapid development of tools and techniques of the complex objects and systems information development, the heterogeneous nature of the subsystems and parts of the transport complex and the present status of information technologies on transport systems. A new concept of the information development of transport systems is substantiated. The practical result is the creation of prototypes and experimental models of transport laboratories. A computer simulation of a common information space transportation organizations was completed. The design solutions were tested while resolving the problems of the public passenger transport control in the the Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine. The scientific novelty of the work is the definition of the new concept of the information development of transport systems with the application of latest scientific advances in mechatronics, telematics and synergetics; the feasibility of establishing a common information space in transportation organizations on the basis of GRID-technologies is proved; the formulation of the new principles of the intellectualization of transportation vehicles, systems, technology and automation of transport processes is actualized. The results of the research are fully implemented at the level of the establishment of experimental models and prototypes, automotive telematics devices and systems, as well as the establishment of GRID-technology transport organization. The sphere of application of these results is limited within the information coverage of the transport infrastructure of cities and regions.
