Kalamag R. Psychology of the Professional I-Concept Formation of the Future Layers.

Problem of the professional I-concept formation of the future lawyers as a basis for their professional development has been researched in the dissertation. There have been embodied the methodological principles of a scientific research with help of analysis, correlation and synthesis such as peculiarities, specifics and requirements of the legal activities to an individual and to the professionally consequential qualities of a lawyer; psychological peculiarities of the subject of the educational and professional activities; professional I-concept as a result of interpenetration of information from the inherent world and the external environment. Theoretical and methodological analysis of the current approaches to researching the professional consciousness and professional I-concept of future specialists has been embodied. Definition and theoretical model of the professional I-concept of future lawyers have been elaborated. Determining components of its cognitive, emotional, estimative and behavioral components have been defined and their empirical research on the basis of a representative sample has been conducted. Criteria and indexes of the level of the professional I-concept of future lawyers' development during the studying period at a higher educational establishment have been defined and peculiarities of its dynamics have been researched.
