Essay

The thesis deals with the study of variability (inconstancy) and variation of the word formal and word content plans. It aims to detect and to describe a single mental (psychic) mechanism that leads to this variability and variation. The above-mentioned range of issues is systematically considered from gestalt-theory viewpoint for the first time in national linguistics. Gestalt-theoretical contiguity principle forms the basis for consideration. Gestalt is defined as an integrated image of actual reality, in which homogeneous and heterogeneous elements are interrelated systematically and qualitatively due to the "common perceptive destiny". The contiguity is a cognitive-reflective category that expresses this type of relations, the connection between these elements, in which each of them can be either consciously identified or they can be unconsciously confused with the other element. Gestalt itself is nothing else but a set of contiguous elements which are connected systematically and structurally.
