Danilyuk I. Formation Of Ethnical Psychology Into A Field Of Scientific Knowledge: Historical And Theoretical Dimensions.

The dissertation highlights the ways of development and formation of ethnical psychology. It analyses the development of the basic research trends of ethnical psychology as interdisciplinary branch of knowledge and determines the main stages of its formation. The author substantiates the necessity to create a ethnical psychology that is relevant to the modern level of psychological knowledge and, as a result, the research advocates the need to build up an interdisciplinary branch of science referred to as ethnonational psychology. Some peculiarities of correlation between psychology and culture are established in the work and some basic distinctive features of ethic communities are singled out as well. The research clears up structural elements of the psychology of an ethnic community. The psychological nature of the inter-ethnic conflicts is defined and a classification of such conflicts is drawn up.
