Essay

The Thesis is devoted to the studying of peculiarities of the manifestation of adaptation reactions and pathological changes in the cattle of different types of higher nervous activity under the action of chemical, biological and technological stress factors and development of methods for physiological correction of reactivity and productivity. In the Thesis on the basis of experimental studies established the degree and nature of the relationship between the typological characteristics of higher nervous activity and the main adaptation reactions and pathological changes in cows before and after action of chemical, biological and technological stimuli. In experiments established the specific physiological and pathological changes which appeared as adaptation reactions due to the stimuli action, dynamics of physiological parameters of the metabolic indices, peculiarities of immune reactions and were dependent on the strength, balance and mobility of the main nervous processes in the cerebral cortex. The obtained data testify that animals of strong types of higher nervous activity are more resistant to the action of irritants than cows of weak type. During the work execution the existing method for determining the types of higher nervous activity in cattle was modified and a new one was proposed. On the basis of conducted studies first recommended the new approaches to the correction of physiological reactivity and productivity in animals. Confirmed the positive effects on the cows' body of new developed mineral feed additives based on solid solutions of dihydrophosfates: "Kormatsynk-P", "Ankares-MD". Administrations to the diet of these mineral additives guarantee the enough supplying of Cobalt, Magnesium, Zinc and Phosphorus for their organism, thereby maintaining a high level of resistance and productivity.
