The dissertation contains new conceptual approaches and instruments of research of financial development of transition economies under globalization. Sistemic-sinergetic approach to conceptualisation of the financial system is offered. Modification of model of the national financial system effected by structural changes in world finances is described. Concept and evolution of functional and structural features of the financial systems of Central and East Europe and CIS countries are analysed. The factors and processes of formation and development of the financial systems of transition economies are systematically structured, economic imperatives and limitations determining their features and evolution are explored. The concept, patterns and particularities of the financial structure formation of transitional economies and the comparative dynamics of their financial depth is appraised. Structural and dynamic features of financial openness of transition economies and direction of its influence on development of the transition financial systems are exposed. The general systemic effects of financial openness of transition economies are scientifically grounded and the instruments of limitation of its risks are offered. The paradigmic principle of stability of the financial system is formulated and based on it the conceptual boundaries of financial stability are determined and the features of stability of the financial systems under globalization are identified. The fundamental determinants of financial instability in transition economies are exposed and the algorithm of the stability of the transition financial systems formation is offered.
