Essay

The thesis deals with designing of the uniform traction electric power transmis-sions for multisystem electric locomotives for realization of the transportation process with one type of locomotive at different values of voltage in overhead contact system (kV DC: 3kV, 6kV, 12kV, 24kV and 25 kV AC). Variants of block diagrams of overfrequency static converters have been proposed and scientifically substantiated. These converters allow to raise coefficient of efficiency of DC electric traction up to 79...84%. Scientific results obtained in the work allow to give recommendations for de-signing and manufacturing of a new energy efficient multisystem electric rolling stock, which traction electric power transmission is based on the static overfrequency converter.
