Essay

Object: The operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces as a sphere of professional activity of a military serviceman. Purpose: conceptualization of the phenomenon of social and professional potential of a soldier, while the transition to the contract principle of recruitment. Research methods: comparative and historical, structural and functional typology, a content analysis of the documentation, mass questionnaires, in-depth interviews, cluster analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis. Theoretical and practical results: the theoretical position, analytical analysis of issues and conclusions of the thesis can be the basis for developing a new concept of the Institute of the armed forces and the concept of the Armed Forces of Ukraine soldier personality while the transition to the contract principle of recruitment. The obtained results allow developing the documents concerning formation of the contract soldiers. Innovation: development of the concept of social and professional potential of the soldier while the transition to the contract principle of personnel recruitment; Implementation degree: the results of the thesis research are implemented in the creation of the Concept of humanitarian and social development in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Code of Honor of the Armed Forces of Ukraine officer.
