Kotsur N. The Formation and development of the sanitary science in Ukraine (the second part of the XIX th - the 20th years of the XX th century)

Research object - long and controversial process of formation and development of hygienic science in the second half of the 19th century - 20 years of the 20th century, relying on forming influence European and World Science. The subject of research - qualitative changes in the structural and organizational components of hygienic science in the process of its formation and development, influences and contradiction of the national scientific and public, university and foreign social medicine, personal dimension of scientific results, positioning of the hygienic science on the basis of social, economic and political challenges of the second half of 19th - 20 years of the 20th century. Work, based on the resolved tasks, completely shows the history of formation and development of hygienic science in Ukraine on the second half of 19th - 20 years of the 20th century, relying on socio-economic and political challenges and European and World scientific achievements. Thesis is devoted to the long and contradictious process of the formation and development of the sanitary science in Ukraine of the second part of the XIXth - the 20th years of the XX th century against the forming background of European and world scientific influence. The process of formation and development of the sanitary science is revealed under the point of view of quantity and quality changes in the structure and organization of the science, interplays and contradictions of the local, university, scientific and public components of the social medicine. The process of formation of the sanitary science is revealed as a social phenomenon, that on one hand influenced the society and on the other hand changed itself under the political, economical, social and culture factors. The role of the sanitary scientists in the society according to the moral and ethical portrait of the epoch, when he lived and searched, is revealed, his social responsibility of the fate of the nation is determined.
