In the work there have been scientifically grounded the meaning and defined the contents of cross-cultural teaching of russian-speaking pupils the Ukrainian language oriented on: recognition of common to mankind values; development of undernational cross-cultural ideology, ways of tolerant speech behaviour; providing of interaction of social, cultural and language orientation on polycultural environment. The author grounds the choice of method's structure, forms and methods of teaching, realization of which will be promote to the improvement of the Ukrainian language teaching of pupils - representatives of national communities; forming of communicative culture in the conditions of interethnic communication; harmonization of cross-cultural dialogue and level of speech culture in the society.
