Essay

The dissertation is devoted to development of scientific bases and technological principles of rearing and growing of a North American sturgeon representative, paddlefish, in aquaculture of Ukraine. For the first time, there have been assessed pedigree groups of paddlefish available in Ukraine by genetic-biochemical systems, DNA-markers, and results of cytogenetic analysis, investigated the state of natural and adaptive immunity of this introduced species. For the first time an integral system of piscicultural measures by basic technological links of paddlefish rearing and growing in conditions of full-system fish farms in pond aquaculture of Ukraine was proposed.
