For the first time the thesis introduces systematic study in historical perspective of approaches to the representation of screen time and space chronotopes in survey of theoretical concepts testing and aspects of generalization of empirical material and artistic practice. Research strategy of the dissertational work investigations realized according to principles of interdisciplinary dialogue. Thereby, target base of scientific elaboration of the claimed topic is integrated study of screen culture as a complex, nonlinear environment, suitable for art modeling of various aspects of human existence with the relevant time and spatial parameters. Complete picture of the screen time and space chronotopes genesis and development created through the combination traced and synchronic approaches. Thus, the study of such universals as time and space in terms of problem re-actualization gets a new sound. The work introduces a comparative analysis of screen representations of time and space in different historical periods in terms of correlation between conceptual and perceptional components of screen chronotope with its "in front of screen" prototype.
