The thesis is devoted to review, analyze and systematize the artistic-spectacular forms of the 2nd half of the 20th - the beginning of the 21th centuries. The thesis analyzed and compared: the definition of "show", features and functions of entertainment forms, approaches to the classification shows, presented in scientific theory. The author's view of the definitions of "spectacle" and "artistic-spectacular form" is formulated and characterized; the author compiled the classification of modern artistic and entertainment forms. The spectacle is defined as a visible form (object or action), which focuses the attention of the recipient subject to careful contemplation and spiritual interaction. Artistic-spectacular form of art is defined as a structure that embodies the unity of the artistic nature of internal and external display of spectacular. Author's classification of modern artistic-spectacular forms prepared by the criterion of subject-spatial environment and consists of four classes: fine-solid forms, street art, stage and screen forms. Author carried out a historical overview of artistic-spectacular forms in order to trace their leading functions at different stages of development. Revealed that the show at all stages of social development carried out the most important functions - socialization, communication, hedonistic-relaxation. Two main types of entertainment forms are formed in the process of social-cultural development: mass action (without division into performers and the audience) and show of the spectacular type (a division of performers and observers). Author grounded concept of physicality as significant signs of artistic-spectacular forms of the 20th - the beginning of the 21th centuries. The process of evolution of the genre of installation in the context of the transformation of subject-visual to artistic-spectacular form is researched. Author studied phenomenon of happening as one of the earliest forms of action art that implements merge art with life and finds entertainment in the context of the unusual, surprise, improvisation. The description of performance art form as the personification of bodily-visual processuality, comparison happening and performance are studied. Author defined the phenomenon of flash mob as the latest variety of artistic events. Dissertation summarized the development of fine-physical forms of the example of body art, discovered its artistic and entertainment components. Author described the contemporary street art with a view of artistic-entertainment in the specific example of graffiti, muralism, three-dimensional drawing on the sidewalk and different types of outdoor installations. The emphasis in the analysis of street art made by graffiti - a form that has come a long way from historical ancient rock inscriptions in highly artistic works of modern streets. Due to the artistic and spectacular qualities street art is defined as artistic and entertaining way to communicate with the urban environment, as a means of creating cultural landscape of the city. The thesis considered the latest artistic and theatrical spectacle phenomenon of the academic instrumental and choral singing, classification of methods of instrumental theatre is compiled, comparison of structural and expressive components of traditional choral singing and choral theatre is made (the term "choral theatre" is considered in two senses - as artistic-spectacular form and as a creative one). Author considered the features of musical as the top of theatre-stage entertainment today: studied approaches to the genre in literature and formulated authors' definition; compared musical with operetta, musical-opera, variety show, review; summarized the factors as the popularity of musical as artistic-entertainment form today. Musical is defined as stage theatrical entertainment genre, a characteristic feature of which is the syncretism of its artistic components (acting games, music, speech, singing, dancing, set design). Musical-opera is defined as stage genre that combines pop with opera tradition on musical soil. The main genre and stylistic musical features which determine its popularity in the 2nd half of the 20th century, defined by: specific syncretism, accessibility and modern artistic language, special requirements for artists. Dissertation traced the historical path of development of circus spectacle to spectacular-art forms, described the phenomenon of modern theatrical circus based on historical analysis of the origins of circus and theatre arts, considered the phenomenon of "circus theatre" for example the Canadian Cirque du Soleil. Author characterized phenomenon of screens as a characteristic feature of modern culture. The effect of "double-entertainment" of transfer of theatrical forms on screen is investigated, the classification of the mentioned art forms is made, their features to screen example of embodiment of the opera are traced. Aesthetic features of screen-art form of music video clip are generalized, its definition is clarified. Characteristic features of TV commercials as artistic entertainment screen form are considered. Computer video game is studied in the context of a screen and artistic spectacle based on the analysis of relations between game and art as cultural phenomenon. Sand animation is differentiated as a new genre of art screen.
