Kozlova O. Theoretico-methodical bases of elite athletes' preparation under conditions of professionalization (on the example of track and field)

Development trends of modern system of competitions under conditions of track and field sport professionalization have been revealed in the dissertation; track and field competitions of different formats have been systematized, their hierarchical levels have been determined; experience of the world top athletes participation in competitions has been generalized, tendencies of training process organization of elite track and field athletes specialized in different track and field disciplines at the current stage have been revealed, factors improving the efficiency of training and competitive activity of elite track and field athletes have been systematized. On the above bases the preparation of elite athletes under conditions of professionalization has been formed and substantiated. It is aimed at formation of specific way of life of athletes under conditions of professionalization with all the constituents being balanced 24 hours per day.
