The object of research is the process of regionalization of the world economy in the context of global integration. The aim of the thesis is to develop a theoretical and methodological foundations of the global and regional economic integration and on this basis - the integrity of the scientific concept of regionalization of the world economy in the context of global integration. Methods: dialectical knowledge, comprehensive, systematic, historical and logical approaches, abstract, logical, economics and statistics, economics and mathematics, systems analysis, sociological and expert interviews, etc. Theoretical results: are to identify new areas of scientific research of the global concept of regionalization and the problem of providing integrated development strategies of countries in the regionalization of the world economy. Bottom line: consists in the fact that they are the scientific basis for the development of integrated development strategies at the regional level and at the level of individual companies and institutions. Scientific novelty: for the first time: the theoretical, methodological, and organizational and economic framework of the integration of countries into the global regionalization of the world economy; methodological basis for the development of the integration strategy developed countries; introduced the concept of a transcontinental integration, scientific-methodical approach to evaluating the potential of regional integration ; improved: methodological basis of the research of the integration processes in the structure of the world economic space, a paradigm of regional economic integration, based on the study of new regional theories refined conceptual approaches to the study of the process of regional development; the theoretical and methodological basis of the research of regionalization of the world economy; organizational and methodological basis for the development of regional models integration; were further developed: identify areas increased integration with the involvement of new countries; systematization level implementation of interregional ties; concepts and categorical apparatus study global regionalization; the theoretical and methodological basis of the research of regional economic integration. The degree of implementation: this study implemented: at the national level, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the National Institute for Strategic Studies; at the regional level: the Donetsk Regional State Administration; Donetsk Regional Council; Donetsk Chamber of Commerce; at the local level, the Department of Economics of Mariupol City Council; at the enterprise level: LLC "Metinvest Holding", JSC "Azovzagalmash", PJSC of Illycha Metallurgical Plant, as well as used in the learning process and Mariupol, Donetsk National State University, and the Department of Economics of the University of Messina Pareto (Italian Republic).
