Naumov V. Development of scientific and technological bases of freight forwarding on automobile transport

Thesis is devoted to the development of scientific and technological bases of forwarding services on automobile transport. The proposed models of the formation of transport market participants' strategies allow determining the optimal rates and set of technological services provided by carriers and forwarders. The developed methodology of assessment of the forwarding services demand as of a set of random variables makes possible to evaluate the demand parameters influence on the efficiency of technological processes. The proposed methodology of the optimal number of forwarder dispatchers determination allows taking into account the peculiarities of freight forwarders functioning in the conditions of random demand parameters. Developed principles of supply chain variants choice are based on simulation modeling of the cargo delivery process, what provides an optimal solution regarding the servicing scheme structure. The proposed methodology of evaluation of synergetic effect and its distribution among delivery process entities makes possible to allow for demand parameters influence on the interaction within the supply chain outcome.
