Object - system of highly qualified football teams' preparing; aim - system improvement of highly qualified football teams' long-term training for the advanced efficiency of their competitive activity; methods: theoretical analysis, pedagogical supervision, pedagogical testing, modeling methods, functional diagnosis methods, pedagogical experiment, mathematics statistics; novelty - the element improvement factors of managing the training system have been defined and integrated into the whole system of highly qualified football teams' preparing; constructive technology of different variants of the annual cycles in the process of highly qualified football teams' long-term training has been presented; the component planning laws of the training loading have been defined; the structure and model characteristics of highly qualified football teams' preparedness have been substantiated; the theoretical principles of sports training have been broadened; results - the practical significance of the research have been approved by the acts of results implementing in the training process of highly qualified football teams FC "Dnipro" (Dnipropetrovs'k), FC "Vorskla" (Poltava), FC "Metalist" (Kharkiv), FC "Kryvbas" (Kryvyi Rih), and the educational process of the coaches license centre of the Football Federation of Ukraine; field of research - physical education and sport.
