The thesis is devoted to the study of the landscape discourse as an author's explication picture of the world within the Russian lyrics in the late 1960s and mid 1980s. The literary works of A. Tarkovsky, B. Chichibabin, N. Rubtsov, Yu. Kuznetsov, A. Kushner, B. Akhmadulina, V. Sosnory, E. Schwartz are analyzed as representative figures of neotraditionalistic and neoavantgarde development vectors of the Russian poetry in the second half of the XXth century. Thesis deals with the definition of the term "picture of the world" as a literary category, characterized with its integrity, consistency, structure, exclusivity. The structural elements of the picture of the world include subject sphere, the space-time continuum, image development, and plot. The concept of "landscape discourse" is also introduced as a communicative event representing the dialogue between a man and nature in the literature texts. Landscape discourse includes nature realias as the markers of naturе world that highlights the space-time coordinates of the literary world; independent literature images or their elements; the plot elements of the lyrical story. Correlation of the picture of the world and landscape discourse is performed according to the principle of commonly-based neosyncretism enriching the poetry of "seventies" with the conceptual meaning.
