Zhurba I. System transformation of cross-border cooperation of Central and Eastern European countries in the enlarged EU.

The thesis substantiates scientific-theoretical and methodological foundations for the formation and application of methodological recommendations concerning transformation of cross-border cooperation in Central and Eastern European countries in the enlarged EU. The work examines methodological principles of the transformation of economic systems, defines their basic transformation model, establishes the transformational paradigm of transition economies. The dissertation defines the features of the transformation of cross-border cooperation under the influence of economic fluctuations. The research shows the economic nature of cross-border cooperation and studies the dynamics of the economic changes and transformations of cross-border cooperation. The study proposes an institutional mechanism of transformation processes of CBC (cross-border cooperation). The thesis examines the integration imperatives of cross-border cooperation in Central and Eastern Europe. The system of cross-border cooperation between the countries of the region in the pre-integration period, and identifies the key determinants of transformation processes. The study estimates the evolution of cross-border post-crisis Central and Eastern Europe countries. The work suggests approaches for the formation of cross-border industrial and economic systems in the countries of this region, the essence and structure of energy-producing cycles and cross-border clusters. The research analyzes trade and investment zones in the system of cross-border cooperation. The study explores structural and functional relationships of cross-border cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union. The thesis defines the influence of the European Neighbourhood Policy and the Eastern Partnership to transform the CBC of Ukraine. The study estimates transformation processes in cross-border cooperation between Ukraine and the enlarged European Union, and it also deals with the peculiarities of the modern model of cross-border cooperation in the establishment of free trade zone.
