Essay

Dissertation is an attempt to generalize the materials of the final stage of the late Bronze Age of the Left-bank Ukraine and creation of the conception of the ethnocultural development of the postsrubnyje tribes in the context of interaction of polycultural and polyethnic population of the contact region of the cultural community of ,,roller ceramics"(CCRC) which is restricted by the territory between the Dnieper and the Seversky Donets. The old relics of the last quarter of the second millennium B.C. of this region are genetically connected with Berezhnovka-Maevka Srubnaja culture (BMSC) and singled out into a special Boguslav-Bilozerka archeological culture (BBC) which is presented by the forest-steppe and steppe local variants. BBC is divided into 3 stages. The early stage is dated by the second half of the 13th-the beginning of the 12th century B.C., the middle stage - the 12th-the 11th centuries B.C. and the late stage - the 10th century B.C. (correspondently the stages proto-BB, BB1, BB2). At the stage proto-BB postsrubnyje tribes presented relatively homogeneous ethnocultural unit. Archaic srubnyje and innovation, culture forming for CRC community, cultural features of the material complex were combined in its culture. This stage is characterized by the close cultural relations of BBC with the late Sabatinovka culture. At the stage BB1 Boguslav-Bilozerka tribes were subjected to a powerful migration impulse from the eastern tribes of CRC - Ivanovka, Otradnenka, Sargary-Alekseyevka cultures. But it did not change the main features of BBC. One more factor - migration of Prykazanskoye and Maklasheyevka population from the Volga-Kama region into the Ukrainian Forest-steppe less affected the culture of the tribes of the stage BB1.
