Severynova M. Archetypes in culture in the projection on the creativity of contemporary Ukrainian composers

The dissertation is a comprehensive study of kulturologo-musicological perspective of archetypes as universals of culture, particularly music; reconstructed historical and theoretical understanding of the traditions of the phenomenon of "archetype", summarized and analyzed existing of scientific and theoretical information on the genesis and evolution of the vectors of the term "archetype" that are involved in the field of Ukrainian musicology; proved that the archetypes are the basic constants of the mentality of man-kind; revealed features of the archetype as a existence, memory, culture, source of artistic creation; detected a genetic link between archetype and concept; the features of ethno-national archetypes in Ukrainian culture; investigated the specificity of the archetypes in the musical arts, discussed musicological approaches in the researches of archetypal ideas and images. On the basis of the method of existential-ontological and semiotic analysis of contemporary Ukrainian composers reproduced typical Ukrainian contemporary music archetypal patterns of existence, revealed the dynamics of their inherent forms. Permission for scientific musicology thesaurus archetypes: the "Light as the Divine archetype", "Silence", "fear/horror", "Sophianic", "The Word", "nature", "Philosophy of the heart", "moral and aesthetic values".
