The work is devoted to theoretical and methodological basis and experimental verification of methods of mastering technologies of the pedagogical discourse by future teachers-philologists aimed at formation of their discourse competence. The theoretical-methodological and conceptual basis of mastering technologies of the pedagogical discourse by future teachers-philologists are defined in the research. The most important structural and functional features of pedagogical discourse are highlighted. The characteristic of subjects of pedagogical discourse is given, the portrait of the discursive personality of a future teacher-philologist is modeled and components of his discursive competence are defined.
