Essay

Object of research - architectural environment. Subject of research - theoretical foundations of the architectural environment harmonization. The purpose of research - development of an integrated system of principles, methods and rules of the architectural environment harmonization, that can to identify generalize and explain the reasons of regular transformations of artificial environment, and to predict the consequences of its changes under the influence of purposeful human activity. Methods of full-scale survey, sociological poll, classification and typology, structural and logical modeling, experimental design and prediction were used. Theoretical and practical results of research - the definition of "architectural environment", "subject environmental activity", "harmony", "harmonious development", "harmonization of the architectural environment" were thoroughly and expanded; the new method of interrelated polarized matrices was developed; new typology of environmental formations, new typology of subjects environmental activity and new system of criteria of harmony architectural environment were developed; the structural and logical model of regular transformations of artificial environment was first developed and principles of its harmonious development were formulated; a new systematization of strategies to improve of artificial environment was carried out and the principles of harmonization of architectural environment were formulated; advisability of forming a new architectural and urban planning areas of science - "Theories of harmonization of architectural environment" was substantiated. The results were incorporated into the research and design process and in the educational process of training architects.
