The thesis is devoted to the study of psychological factors, laws and conditions of the ecologicalculture among university students.Sets out the principles of theecological culture of modern students, and developed a psychological model of the ecological culture, which includes the following levels: ecological awareness, ecologicaleducation,ecological competence and ecological culture.The experiments, aimed at the formation of ecological culture of today's students, it was found that the inclusion of the individual in ecological activities as a necessary component of ecological education has become the leading factor and the condition of the ecological culture of the individual, and self-awareness as an integral and active part of the living environment leads to assimilation of environmental norms oriented behavior in this environment.
