Dorozhkin V. Psychology of altruistic behaviour of Personality.

There are methodological and theoretical issues of altruistic behaviour in phylogenesis, sociogenesis and ontogenesis researched in the work. The notion of altruism is conceptualized, the author biosociopsychological model of altruistic behaviour is constructed, and the phenomenon of altruism is presented in correlation with other social processes. The author's conception of altruism results in considering certain displays of altruism as a psychological defense, which allowed introducing the concept of 'neurosis of altruism'. The systematization of basic types of altruism is grounded, and they are comprehended as correlated with each other. The reciprocal correlation of altruistic and aggressive behaviour is revealed, which allowed having retraced the genesis of the two mentioned strategies of human activity - altruism and aggression and determining their mutual roots. Besides, the reciprocal influence of altruism and hierarchical, gender, cooperative and other types of human behaviour is brought to light. The symbolic constituting of altruism and the means of the constituting in psychotherapy are theoretically defined and empirically researched. In particular, the means of psychotherapeutic practice in extra-development of 'mature' altruistic subjectivity are analyzed, and the means of reacting to negative, disadaptive influence of forced altruism are studied.
