Essay

The thesis provides new theoretical and practical results of research opportunities to control the functional reliability of railway transport operators (workers locomotive crews and operational control personnel). Determined and formalized dependency professional reliability of railway transport operators obtained from the base of their level of functional reliability - a level of health and biological age. Thus, for the first time experimentally demonstrated the need to control the level of health and biological age. Determined and formalized dependency professional and functional reliability of railway operators on the characteristics of their personalities, while found significant gender differences that must be considered when selecting a professional and in control of the functional state. The system control workers locomotive crews before rail run, by introducing indicators "of higher nervous activity" and heart rate variability was improved. A mathematical model of the functional state of the human operator for the purposes of monitoring employees' locomotive crews before rail run was developed and experimentally proved its effectiveness. A method for determining the baseline level of functional reliability of rail operators was developed.
