The thesis is devoted to an actual scientific problem: the development of theoretical principles and tools of analyzing of the viability of different by nature of the "man - technology - environment" elements in difficult conditions that is based on the systematic research of their functioning. An interdisciplinary approach to research that is based on geometrization signals of the elements. A correlation of component configurations allowed to create complementary means for systematic analysis of complex ergonomic research. An application of the approach and tools provides new possibilities: research of a compatibility of the functioning of the "man - technology - environment" system elements by different nature in difficult conditions; express-identification of transitional states of the "man - technology - environment" elements; the research of the modifies of the functioning of the "man - technology - environment" system elements under stress factors impact.
