Essay

The thesis is devoted to the solution of the actual scientific problem - assessment of the driver 's activity reliability in the "man - technology - environment" system in conditions of congestion on city roads. At the same time, reliability is determined through the probability of an accident. The proposed approach to assessing the probability of the occurrence of road accidents on the elements of the transport network taking into account the traffic congestion allows us to compare and evaluate various variants of design solutions for improving road safety. The scientific approach to assessing the reliability of the driver in the system "man - technology - environment" in the conditions of congestion on urban roads, based on a comprehensive study of the human factor, namely, the functional state of the driver, which varies depending on traffic conditions, is a conceptual development of the current scientific directions of increasing the safety and reliability of ergatic systems.
