The dissertation is devoted to study the problem of the formation of readiness of the future teachers of music to innovation activity. Theoretical and methodological basis for the formation of readiness of the future teachers of music for innovation activity were considered, the essence of it was revealed, conceptual approaches are analyzed and the leading synergistic approach to the formation of this phenomenon was proposed. Scientific approaches to the analysis of innovation activities of the teacher of music were generalized, innovative concept of musical training and education of pupils were identified. Innovative paradigm of music teacher was defined and author's conceptual model of the innovation activity of teacher of music was formulated, which consist of four socio-cultural substructures - micro-space, mezo-space, macro-space and mega-space. The component structure of readiness of the future teacher of music for innovation activity was defined. In the dissertation the technological model of readiness of the future teachers of music for innovation activity was designed, which includes conceptual-paradigmatic and methodological-procedural blocks. According to the criterion in experimental section the readiness of future teachers of music for innovation activity was diagnosed, the results of formative experiment were analyzed. In formative experiment it was suggested to use the functions of management (planning , analysis, accounting, motivation, control and coordination) to achieve the goal - formation of readiness for innovation activity, according to the conceptual model of innovation activity the essence and steps sequence of formative experiment were grounded.
