Petrov R. Legal Nature of the European Union "Acquis" and its Transposition to Legal Systems of Third Countries.

The thesis offers comprehensive analysis of the following: examines legal nature of the concept of EU "acquis"; analyzes major historical stages of the development and use of the concept EU "acquis" in field of EU external relations; studies the content and scope of the EU "acquis" within internal and external dimensions of its application; clarifies the scope of the concept "transposition of law" in the field of EU external relations, analyzes substantive and procedural means of the EU "acquis" transposition into legal systems of third countries; clarifies the content and scope of the EU "acquis" within the process of its transposition into the Ukrainian legal system and as a consequence studies the process of Europeanization of the Ukrainian judicial system.
