Oleshko V. Modelling, Selection and Orientation in the System of Athletes' Preparation (on the Basis of Power Sports)

In this research we have given theoretical generalization and new solution of scientific issue that deals with the improvement of the knowiedge system formation concerning regularity of modelling, selection and orientation among qualified power sports athletes. This paper reveals the solution, which has been found out in the process of athletes' preparation during long-term training and which hasn't been published in scientific literature yet. The studied issue has been solved with the help of such methods as prediction, modelling and control of selection and training orientation as well as by means of individual capabilities assessment, choice of methods and means for express analysis of technical preparedness level with its orientation to the effective realization of technical and tactical movements in the process of competitive activity. During the research we have applied electronic and optical means of control for athletes' technical preparedness that served as the components of selection and orientation of athletes' preparation to the main competitions of the year. Analogues to the suggested selection and orientation system have not been presented in the theory and practice of power sports yet.
