The dissertation deals with the psychology handicaps as a phenomenon that reflects the interaction of the person with disabilities and society. Through the prism of genetic psychology and systematic approach as a methodological paradigm of research carried branched empirical theoretical study of the interaction. Reveals the philosophical, sociological and psychological aspects of the phenomenon. Specified on the social nature of the phenomenon handicaps, its dependence on socio-economic processes of society. Determined by the nature of the semantic personal expression of that outline handicaps phenomenon: a set handicap, handicaps and handiphobia. Done handicaps performance systems analysis and its manifestations in the context of education , gender, age, residence and occupation of the respondents. Created and solved psychological models identified derivatives handicaps. Reveals the way of forming expressions handicaps in phylogenetic and ontogenetic aspects. Presented training programs for the prevention and regulation of expressions handicaps and analyzed their effectiveness.
