Drevitska O. Clinical and psychological characteristics of borderline mental disorders in children of primary school age and the system of their psychological support

Based on the system interdisciplinary approach new solution of topical scientific issue of medical psychology was implemented. The solution includes the definition of appearance regularity, the phenomenology and typical clinical and psychological characteristics of borderline mental disorders (BMD) in children of primary school age. There is suggested the pathogenetic reasoned complex system of individually and family oriented psychological correction and differentiated psychological support of patients with BMD. The targets of psychological correctional impact are defined. There is devised the system of psychoprophylaxis including the monitoring of psychical heath state in children of primary school, the detection of risk groups of BMD nascency and the optimization of educational work taking to account the compensatory disposition of ill children for the increase of their self-rating, school progress and the creation of appropriate conditions for their self-realization.
