Essay

The object is the epistemology of Leibniz. The aim is historical and philosophical reconstruction of Leibniz's epistemology as a system and the identification of its critical regulatory reasons. The methods are problem, conceptual, normative analysis. Philosophical criticism is considered as philosophical ideology which is characterized by three features: 1) orientation to eradication of prejudices; 2) positioning of an alternatives to scepticism and dogmatism; 3) attempt to define borders of certain knowledge on the basis of the analysis of knowledge abilities. Leibniz's epistemology is result of normative synthesis mainly of four critical programs, namely of Ioachim Jungius's methodical criticism, eclectic criticism, Descartes rationalistic criticism and Locke's empirical criticism. Synthesis is carried out on the basis of the principle of sufficient reason. Leibniz's epistemology represents a system which possesses both theoretical, and architectonic unity, and is based on the critical bases. Leibniz's critical program possesses any advantages in comparison with the critical program of Kant: it sets wider tasks, is based on broader and progressive concept of scientific knowledge and is more methodically reasonable. Application sphere is the training courses.
