The thesis is devoted to the development and substantiation of theoretical principles and methods of natural-scientific training future ecologists at the university. Conceptual basis of natural-science training future ecologists in universities are developed and grounded, in particular the concept of natural-science training; model of didactic system of natural-science training future environmentalists; purposes of scientific preparation of future environmentalists are specified; criteria for selecting the content of natural-scientific training and requirements for structuring educational material are defined and justified; pedagogical conditions of natural and scientific expertise of environmental experts are established.
