The key issue of research is understanding the radical changes in the artistic process of the new millennium. They held, first, under the influence of new information technologies that led to the emergence of media art. Modern art involve maximum potential visual media: art in the field of culture new visuality – a jubilant mediynist. The study presents telecommunications as audio-visual art that is an essential part of modern culture. The coverage of these issues has expanded the range studied problems from the impact of new telecommunications on transformation of genres and languages of contemporary art to the comprehensive coverage of the specific media, TV screen culture and art telecommunications and in particular in the context of television search for a new Ukrainian national identity and regional socio-cultural development.
