The doctoral thesis deals with theoretical and methodological principles of designing educational environment of future primary school teachers' training. The ontology has been studied, the following terms have been defined: "environment", "education", "educational environment", "educational space", "educational space of the institution of higher education", "educational environment of future primary school teachers' training". Methodological principles, elements and steps of designing educational environment of future primary school teachers' training have been described. The structure of educational environment of future primary school teachers' training has been shown; the elements of their training have been analyzed. The criteria have been substantiated; levels of future primary school teachers' in-service readiness have been characterized and diagnosed. The model of future primary school teachers' training in the designed educational environment has been grounded. Methodology of designing educational environment of future primary school teachers' training has been experimentally checked.
